We offer dog walking services. Dog boarding services will be available soon.
Predominately the areas covered will be the Abbeymead, Gloucester and surrounding areas - but other areas may be considered. Please get in touch to discuss your needs.
Before joining group walks, every dog undergoes an initial assessment to ensure they’re a good fit. We look at temperament, sociability, recall, and how your dog behaves around other dogs and people. This usually includes a trial walk and a home consultation.
If your dog is a suitable match, we gradually introduce them to the group—typically starting with one-on-one walks or pairing them with calm, well-socialised dogs. This helps build confidence and ensures a smooth transition into group settings.
If we feel your dog would be happier on solo walks, we’ll discuss alternative options tailored to their needs. Our priority is always your dog’s wellbeing and safety.
We walk dogs in a variety of locations, including local parks and countryside trails, depending on what’s available in your area. The exact route is chosen based on location, weather conditions, and your dog’s individual needs, and is always at the discretion of the walker. Regardless of the setting, every walk is designed to provide plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and enrichment to keep your dog happy and engaged
Yes, we can walk dogs off the lead, but only when it's safe and appropriate to do so. This is subject to the dog walker having built up a bond with your dog and thus being confident in your dog's recall ability, and behaviour around other dogs and people. We require your written consent before any off-lead walks take place. Ultimately, the decision to walk a dog off the lead is made at the walker's discretion, with your dog’s safety as the top priority
We only walk dogs in small groups, with a maximum of 4 dogs per walk. This allows us to give each dog the care, attention, and supervision they deserve. Smaller group sizes help ensure a safe, enjoyable, and manageable experience for all dogs, and allow us to cater to individual needs during the walk.
Dogs are walked in all weathers, except in extreme conditions (high heat, storm warnings).
Dogs are safely transported in a dedicated dog van, fitted with secure, individual crates to ensure comfort and safety during travel. The van is equipped with proper ventilation for warmer days and cosy blankets to keep dogs comfortable in colder weather. We also carry fresh water, a canine first aid kit, and treats to make the journey as pleasant and stress-free as possible. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our top priorities at all times
We are currently trialling the use of Pawfit GPS trackers to enhance safety and transparency during our dog walks. Pawfit trackers allow us to monitor your dog’s location in real time and keep track of their activity and wellbeing while out on walks.
You can learn more about Pawfit trackers at www.pawfit.com.
As always, your dog’s safety is our top priority, and we’re excited to explore new ways to keep you informed and reassured.
To cover the associated costs a small surcharge will apply for GPS tracked walks.
